Mr. J's Scene
Johnnell (Mr. J) is a Missionary and Director of Youth Ministries in Ontario, California, USA. He has traveled throughout California to Mississippi as a Keynote speaker at youth camps, conventions, retreats, and workshops.
He has served in Uganda, Rwanda, and The Democratic Republic of Congo directing and producing theatrical stage plays and Christian-themed Short Films. He is the writer of the comedy-drama stage play "Hold On...You Can Make It," producer of the short film "Fractured Identity," and co-writer for the dramatic stage play "SPLIT Second the Revelation." Mr. J has served with middle and high school students for 45 years.
Theatre acting credits include: A Raisin in the Sun, FENCES, Stories About The Old Days, The Piano Lesson, and a national tour with the Koinonia Players. He has starred and co-starred in national and regional television commercials. Feature film projects include Nine Months, Flubber, and Copycat. Co-hosting on the Friday night television special California Talent Search and hosted his weekly radio program, The Inspirational Gospel Show. He can be seen on his YouTube channel, Mr. J Showing The LOVE, premiering new episodes each week.
